Most mantels ordered from Jefferson Mantelworks will be shipped to you FREE  of charge, via UPS ground service.  Once your mantel is shipped, we will e-mail you a UPS tracking link, so that you can track your shipment's progress.

In the case of oversized mantels, there may be a shipping surcharge.  Oversize orders that cannot be shipped via UPS will have to be shipped via motor freight.  The surcharge simply offsets the price difference between UPS rates and motor freight rates.  You are still not charged the full cost of shipment.

If you are ordering from outside of the continental US, please e-mail us and we can make special arrangements for shipment. 

Once your mantel is completed, each component will be wrapped in heavy-duty bubble wrap, then carefully packed in custom-fitted wooden shipping crates. Expect to receive fireplace "surround" mantels in two crates, and "shelf" mantels in one crate.

All tools, hardware, and supplies needed to assemble and install your mantel will be included in the crate.
